The charming Victorian building added character to my stay, and the reception staff were incredibly helpful during a medical emergency.

The property was remarkable, offered exceptional and individual rooms. Everything seemed brand-new, clean. The food was fresh and the bar was nice. Decent and brilliant location, it was close to a tube station. Apart from that, Madame Tussauds London was 5 minutes' drive away. The service was exceptional, including the great onsite restaurant. Overall my stay was fabulous and would come here again.

Welcoming, smiling and helpful staff. Perfectly located hotel. Near 2 subways. The hotel is located in a quiet street, very close to a street full of restaurants...VERY PRACTICAL...I will come back.
That the staff do not master some basics in French

For a very reasonable price for London (£60 single B&B), a good hotel with common space (lounge, bar, breakfast room), new bathroom, nice area with restaurants, shops, 2 underground lines and many buses including one on two floors crossing all of London to the Tower;

The cleanliness of the hotel, its decoration to our taste, the reception open 24 hours a day.
It is unfortunate that we can only use the bathtub in "shower" mode.

The location close to 2 metro stations and Hyde Park. Small restaurants nearby. Calm and well-kept. Continental breakfast well managed.

USB sockets to charge our phones without adapters.
The staff does not speak a word of French. The sound of the doors of the other rooms resonating when they close.

I have been to this hotel before but this is the first time I was in a cheap room (everything is relative to London). Special room with a single bed in a kind of mezzanine. A little strange layout. Note: Bar and small pleasant lounges. Possible and very copious sandwiches for a reasonable price. Have a nice breakfast.
The person at the reception was not smiling or welcoming.

We would come here again as the location was brilliant. The breakfast is exceptionally nice with a great selection-toast and boiled eggs, for instance, lots to choose from. Make sure you stay in the king room with shower and free Wi-Fi, for instance...

the location is very easy to access. the room was pleasant, cosy and well heated. the bathroom is clean
The windows of the room were not closed properly and slammed with the wind. No scrambled eggs, no bread (just sandwich bread) and the croissants were not fresh for breakfast
